i'm confused , is this supposed to be the defender 90 or the 110? i want to design a sort of a print for wall mount displays for this set and am not sure what model is this based on.. from what i can tell it's supposed to be a 110 but those have 4 doors and the 90 has 2 doors, so i'm confused. which is it?.

Thank you so much for this video, my kids are finally at the age that they are ready to play with lego and I've pulled out my old sets and much to my suprise, all of my favorite sets are designed by this wonderful soul. I look at the sets that are available now and it's all based on licensed content that is extremely expensive and not nearly as versatile. Thank-you Jørn for making my childhood awesome!

If you build the set the same way as in the video then take the head off and flips it while moving the eyebrows to the top of the head you can make him mad by tilting the eyebrows fully in.

This set is really interesting and cool looking. I never owned one, but I’ve seen it in catalogues. It’s interesting to view this set from the perspective, that 3 years later Lego would release the Mega Core Magnetizer (6989) for the M:Tron line, which shares similarities to this Blacktron set. For example, both have similar kind modularity, large wheels, huge canopy in the front and a joint axle in the middle part. Mega Core Magnetizer looks like a more ”extravagant” version of the Battrax set. It’s as if Lego designers were finally able to design the ”dream scifi vehicle” they always wanted with the 6989, but one which they couldn’t quite do yet with the 6941.

I would have been 10 when this kit came out. I remember seeing it at the toy store as a kid. I loved legos! 31 years later I got myself the ford gt kit to relive some childhood memories.

Hi, I create myself RC cars with powered up, and always have the car that slightly pulls to right or left after the servo motor come back to point 0 after steering. (like it comes back to point 0 a little too strong, and after steering right, it pulls to the left and vice versa). Is there a solution to add precision to allow the car to not deviate too much when it should go in straight line ? At this scale, implementing springs put to much pressure on parts and the result is not good. Thanks!

Greetings from India! My 4 year old boy has been playing with this 42117 Lego set for a more than a month. I sat and made some of your 33 iterations and it was equally enjoyable for me as well as him ! He found it easier to follow instructions and he has done almost all the other MOCs on rebrickable. But your creations are unique and really a class apart. It’s really challenging for a child that small (and even for us adults) to play a video forward and back and build a model! I wish you would publish the instruction manuals on rebrickable for these models to make it accessible for the younger audience. Amazing work ! Your 33 models ignited a new found curiosity in my kid who thought that only 2 planes possible! And it’s on his request that I am sending you this comment in hopes that you will respond and I can convey him your message back !
